As the sun sets, one of Mu's most bizarre predators begins to stir. Depicted here in as photo-real detail as I can muster is Cryptopneumon, a very derived volant leptictidan I made for the Populating Mu spectember challenge.

Leedsichthys problematicus, a whale-sized filterfeedeer pachycormid fish from the late jurassic I dont know much about non-tetrapod anatomy, so below i'll thank everyone who coached me and helped me make this commission accurate within what we know of it !! ↓↓

Usually for this stage in the sculpting process I grab some nice alphas to scratch in the flow of the skin and clean it up later, this time around it was all Standard and Clay Buildup (with some pinch here and there) and I think it went swimmingly!

Whipping up a Shunosaurus for practice Skeleton based on drawing by Scott Hartman and New Shunosaurus Material by Ma et al. Soft tissue based on Dr Matt Dempsey's Diplodocus Musculature drawing and other dinosaur soft tissue models. (I cannot praise these resources enough)
