You can tell trans women are the women of women because people who claim to love and support us still insist on categorising us as either "innocent damsel who has to be protected" or "evil psycho bitch" and will flip you from one to the other the moment you aren't sycophantically agreeing with them

Avoiding toxic dynamics and sex that isn't necessarily positive isn't writing at a disadvantage. Darker stories still require the contrast of joy and emotional depth to work. Stripping away the friction that drives people together and apart doesn't make your writing inherently more difficult.

When someone postures themself as a trans ally and makes being nice a major aspect of their personality I'm going to assume they've participated in several takedowns of vulnerable trans women and excise anyone from their life who pushes back against them
