Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!

The kind of interesting thing about being a trans therian is that wolf me still seems female, while I present male. It doesn’t feel like a contradiction to me though. There’s so much culturally, psychologically, and emotionally about being trans that just doesn’t apply to wolves. I’ve accepted it!
