A new paper by our very own @lukasmogge.bsky.social and Julian Roeckert has just been accepted in JAERE! 📄 The study evaluates an anticipatory cash transfer program implemented during an extreme winter in Mongolia and discusses the importance and difficulties of research on humanitarian aid.

Lukas Mogge@lukasmogge.bsky.social · last yr.

New paper on anticipatory cash transfers to herders during an extreme winter in Mongolia. ACTs have significant positive effects for poorer recipients, not so much for the rest of our sample. Personal learnings: Anticipatory action is promising. Targeting matters. More research is needed.

Next Monday, January 29 at 1pm CET, we welcome #AnnaDreber (Stockholm School of Economics) in our #seminarseries. Anna is a leading scholar in the field of meta-science. Her talk is titled “(Predicting) replication outcomes“. Contact us for the Zoom link and join us online!
