Wie Rechte in Universitäten Dominanz erlangen und Gegner*innen bedrohen und einschüchtern, zeigt dieser Fall aus Marburg exemplarisch. Besonders erschütternd ist, wie wenig Solidarität mit den Opfern und Widerspruch gegen rechte Hetze es gibt.

Autoland Deutschland: Für eine Arbeitsaufgabe: Es soll so geplant werden, dass "eine*r aus dem Team ein Auto zur Verfügung hat". Es wird als völlig normal angesehen, ohne Teil der Einstellungsvoraussetzungen zu sein. Dienstwagen / Carsharing vom Arbeitgebenden gibt's natürlich nicht.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, mit einiger Bestürzung nehme ich die Pläne zur Reform Ihres Programms zur Kenntnis. Dass der DLF dadurch ohne Not sein Alleinstellungsmerkmal preisgeben soll, finde ich äußerst bedauerlich. Statt Ihr Kerngeschäft Radio zugunsten eines Digitalausbaus zusammenzukürzen und so zu einer farblosen Konkurrenz unter zig bereits vorhandenen digitalen Angeboten zu verzwergen, wäre es gerade in den aktuellen Zeiten, in denen Qualitätsjournalismus wichtiger ist denn je, mehr als wünschenswert, dass Sie wie gehabt den Wert von hochwertigem Radiojournalismus hochhalten und ihm den Raum geben, der ihm gebührt. Ich schätze die aktuelle Programmgestaltung des DLF sehr. Als Mitinitiatorin der wissenschaftspolitischen Initiative #IchBinHanna betrachte ich Sendungen wie Campus & Karriere als immensen Gewinn für gesellschaftliche und politische Debatten; auch andere Fachsendungen höre ich mit großem Interesse, Neugier und Freude. Dieses Erfolgskonzept durch ein neues, konturloses Programm zu ersetzen, wäre ein herber Verlust für die deutsche Medienlandschaft. Diese Woche direkt zweimal damit konfrontiert: Warum gibt es eigentlich als Essens"auswahl" bei größeren Veranstaltungen 1x Fleisch, 1x Fisch und 1x Vegetarisch? Warum kann man nicht aus mehreren klima- und tierfreundlichen Optionen (inkl. vegan) auswählen?

In an online experiment, we investigate what happens when participants who fundamentally disagree communicate. We exogenously vary the degree of polarization and the participants’ ability to communicate. When participants are sufficiently polarized, communication no longer improves trust and significantly reduces trustworthiness. Using natural language processing and supervised machine learning, we document that a substantial fraction of participants focus their communication on being polarized, leading to a destructive effect on both trust and trustworthiness. Our findings challenge the universality of contact theory, highlighting that communication may backfire in settings where parties hold opposing views."
