The difference in how cheating is viewed in motorsports vs other sports is hilarious. Steal signs in Baseball? You’re an absolute heathen. Find a way to sneak more fuel into your engine between measurement cycles? Absolutely legendary.

I’ve worked with commercial spaceflight companies a few times now. This an insanely bad idea. Launch on a fundamental level is an incredibly violent affair, and a LOT of work has gone into making it coexist well with nature at Cape Canaveral.

I have always had a healthy respect for people that work in construction, but man after the past few weeks I am blown away by how effective they can be. The sheer volume of teamwork and communication between entire companies, and the speed in which stuff gets planned and then executed is wild.

It’s pretty damn amazing to watch the LM-10 flight test unfold like this after the constant rhetoric of “Oh its iterative design” from certain other programs… Turns out you can set your expectation as success from day 1 and it can work, even with a new idea.

Testing something new really quick, if it works I'm about to have something *really* cool to share

Take another look at last nights launch of LA-08 and the final Atlas V 551! This was my first time successfully using my 360 camera for a launch remote, so still a few adjustments to make but overall really happy with it!

Atlas V is an incredible rocket, and one I will miss dearly. Last night the final Atlas V 551 put on a show that can only be described as breathtaking. I have had one shot in mind for this variant for years, and not only did I finally get it on my last chance, it might be my best work yet.

This "Promise" pitch/floater will be a good test for the space press who primarily focus on human spaceflight. Talk to planetary scientists. Where's that RTG gonna come from (and take away from)? How in the world do they think it would actually be flight operable?

To anyone who thinks aggressive progressiveness is a weak strategy, its been beating the hell out of the appeasers.

Fireworks are always set off by the pool. The fencing happens every year. What is different is that last year was less than 8,000 fireworks and this year is supposed to be 851,000.
