Arizonan by way of Montana. Proud husband and doggy daddy. #democrat Here to learn, discuss, and occasionally argue. I’m not as funny as I think I am. I’m a walking, talking typo. #prochoice #gunsaretheproblem

I'm not sure--today--how a Dem gets through our primary and wins a General. We gotta be better on the border; that'll piss off the DSAs We gotta tax the rich and go all-in on healthcare. That'll scare away the moderates Not sure which candidate can thread the needle. Not sure there is one.

It's going to take a brilliant mind to thread the needle for Dems in 2028. The candidate will need to embrace the left flank while still keeping moderates engaged. I think there are only 2 candidates who can pull it off: AOC and Pete. One is a woman, the other gay. History doesn't favor them.

Imagine if Elon Musk called a presser and said he's doing the following 3 things: 1) Putting 10 Billion to end world hunger 2) Putting 10 Billion to end homelessness world wide 3) Putting 1 Billion to end all kill animal shelters He'd be king Instead, he chose ::gestures wildly:: Unreal

Periodic reminder that there's ZERO need to kiss politician's asses. These are every day people who won a popularity contest. Did you call your student body president in High School "sir" or "mam"? They're important because they say they are, not because they actually are. No ass kissing.

If anybody is feeling panicky over it's speech on Thursday, dont... It's nothing but talk. Anything he's about to say publicly he's already told GOP legislators privately. They really can't do much between now and the midterms. Just go vote. That'll be the fastest way to end all of this.

I don't think anybody cared that Graham was gay. I have a sneaking suspicion based on things we have seen trickle out that he was a pervert...and I imagine that's what Trump used to keep him in line.

If you've watched closely over the past 24 months, you'd notice: 1) AOC--when elected--was the most "left" member of congress. Now she's the Dem's desirable "mainstream" 2) Jeffries and Schumer are pure establishment 3) This new batch is FAR left of AOC Room for all...but AOC is the sweet spot

Look, Trump is going to get away with all of it. Let's just resign ourselves to that and move on to taking over congress so we can neuter him for the last 2 years we have to deal with him. Screaming about all of this corrupt nonsense isn't going to get us anywhere. It's over. He's immune.

Not too long ago, every country in the world "needed" the US. They either needed us as an ally, or the needed us not to be targeting them as an enemy. Both militarily and economically. Now, it's becoming increasingly clear very few countries feel like they need us. Not good. Thanks Trump

I think something Democratic strategists need to start being realistic about is Dem voters seem to be overwhelmingly "over" politicians. Republicans celebrate their politicians (which should never happen), but generally Dems seem to be saying "eh, they're all gross". I'm one. I'm not alone.

None of this is going to change until 2029. Even if Trump dies or is forced to resign for health reasons (the ONLY reason he'd resign), Vance--with the same advisors and donors--will pick up right where Trump left off. Change will only come if Dems VOTE in the 2028 Presidential. It's that easy.

Because of MAGA and Trump, "Patriot" has perhaps become one of my top 10 least favorite words in the English language. I get irritated bordering on angry when I hear it anymore. It's been hopelessly bastardized.

I know it’s easy for me to say, but the press should realize that this is just an effort to shut them up. There isn’t a single judge in America—including that corrupt shithead in Florida Eileen Cannon—who would support a treason charge against a reporter asking questions. @therickwilson.bsky.social
