coffee-drinking nerds moaning about how bad smoking smells is hilarious. that shit smells awful to me and i’ve burned most of my olfactory cells out by smoking. i got yelled at for smoking outside near a stinky dumpster in santa monica. grow up. you breathe smog all day. let me die in peace

‘everyone should subject themselves to stupid propaganda made to anger and engage them’ is such a funny idea taken seriously. i am not immune to propaganda. i’m not going on the propaganda site

universal programs are a public good in se! there is a ton of research and writing on administrative burden and programmatic universalism that directly opposes these positions and isn’t appearing in The News. there’s a reason for that and it’s not a good faith policy disagreement

Everyone is dunking on this piece but I think it's worth taking seriously. There's been good-faith debate among urbanists for years about whether free fares offer the best bang for the buck. It's OK to support a candidate and still subject their policies to scrutiny! slate.com/business/202...

No one here thinks Bluesky is good we just think it is better than every other social media site which are all in a 200 website last place tie for “worst website not currently being investigated by Interpol”
