Now this is the kind of trash talk we can get behind. We’re containerizing neighborhoods by taking trash off our sidewalks and allowing mid-size buildings to trade in their wheelie bins for a bigger, better, cleaner alternative: Empire Bins. It’s time to put a lid on it, New York.

One lesson from the World Cup I think that Seattle neighborhoods would be smart to heed is that refusing to pedestrianize spaces at the heart of neighborhoods meant that people didn’t stop, stay, and spend time there… they just drove on through to places where pedestrians were prioritized.
