I enjoyed how Ted Lasso’s third season ended, it would have been a great place to leave off. It was perfect. Which meant I originally didn’t get excited for season four… but I think I’ve changed my mind? The world is fucked, Ted Lasso is good for my mental health. So fuck it. Okay, I still believe.

Recently got into Japanese game imports; more economical than American copies, often identical. But god, I think I’ve hit sicko mode physical media collector. My ears perked up like my dog’s when he hears me open the fridge as I was told I could find quality & low price with Japanese CD pressings.
In 2001, I played Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura by the geniuses that made my beloved Fallout 1. I had fun, grinding for weeks. The I hit a wall because I’d dropped a pair of glasses required to advance the story quest. Nothing highlighted their importance. Abandoned, never restarted.

After being sick with Covid for 2 weeks (1 with it, 1 with after-effects) I slept in until 2pm today. Got up, made fresh tortillas and chorizo breakfast tacos. Ate them with a fresh French press of black coffee as Daft Punk played on my Zune through my Y2K Panasonic stereo. Life is good again.

My wife and I are getting over COVID. We went 6 years without ever catching it. Hasn’t been fun, but it’s been akin to a middling flu. Survivable. No hospitalization. We avoided it for so long, and then survived it, because of the work of Dr. Anthony Fauci and every other public health expert. (1/2)
