Leah Greenberg: As national partners for No Kings we are here to answer the call, and with the leadership of the champions on this call and across the South, to stand in fierce solidarity with black communities under attack, and to throw in together.

Janai Nelson: I didn't mince words before the Supreme Court. I'm not going to mince words before you tonight. We have a battle ahead. We lost something absolutely precious, something so many of us didn't even know was the glue holding our multiracial democracy together, the Voting Rights Act of 1965

Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson: So what happened? I'm glad you asked. Yesterday, the Supreme Court eviscerated one of our nation's most sacred civil rights protections...This is an effort to silence the voices of millions of black voters and other voters of color.

Barbara Arnwine: John Lewis coined that mighty phrase, Good Trouble! The act of coming together to take peaceful nonviolent action to challenge injustice. The power of collective direct action resulted in the passage of the VRA in 1965 and today that same collective action can protect voting rights

Today, SCOTUS dealt a devastating blow to one of our nation's most sacred civil rights protections, the VRA. Join the No Kings Coalition for an emergency response with leaders from the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the ACLU, and plaintiffs from the case. RSVP here: www.mobilize.us/nokings/even...

The new map, a win for Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Donald Trump, is also destined to trigger a messy legal battle that could play out in both state and federal courts.

Let's be clear: The Trump Admin's vendetta against the SPLC is a sign of how impactful their work is. The SPLC has been at the forefront of exposing some of America's most notorious hate groups, like the KKK. The fact that the Trump Admin feels threatened by that speaks volumes.
