Tempting to believe Uber is evil, even by the abysmal standards of capitalism These lawyers — as I've also said about union busting attorneys — should not be able to hide behind "the adversarial system" They must be shunned and disbarred as the militant enablers of rape culture that they are

“The litigation has revealed a clear pattern: Uber’s lawyers scour women’s private communications, medical records, therapy notes …They grill the women about those issues, their sex lives and their behavior on the night of the incident.” www.nytimes.com/2026/08/04/b...

The struggle against ICE has benefitted immeasurably from the Black-led movement for George Floyd, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner and many others Now, my hope is that the ICE focused struggle will power into the police violence fight at hand in Madison and across the country

Can tell you from personal experience fighting them that NYC EDC is a nasty, unaccountable thing for working people, especially most marginalized workers Grassroots orgs have a great opportunity now to put their heads together with Lina Khan But would have been infinitely better without Shorris

90 years ago today began the Spanish Revolution where workers captured the fields and factories—forging a model of workers control that has inspired revolutionaries around the world for generations. 🏴❤️🖤

Image of anarchist and other revolutionary workers holding flags and rifles atop an armored car.

Death squads are obviously horrific, intrinsically But this whole ICE thing is also simply a tactic to provide a smokescreen and power for Trump and other oligarchs to steal more of our resources — ones that we need for health care and housing Defeating ICE is a victory for all working families

It's (past) time for a national rising of a higher level against ICE and all State violence. The dear departed souls Sebástian Guerrero and Lorenzo Salgado can help us connect the dots Sandra Bland and George Floyd can guide us from above

What a tremendous gift to the movement 🥹🔥 Ashanti Alston is one of the true greats, as a person and as a revolutionary

Over the years, many of us have had the privilege of hearing Ashanti Alston speak on Black anarchism, political prisoners, Zapatismo, and lessons from organizing. With the help of @williamcson.bsky.social we've compiled his writings, speeches, and interviews into a volume we can all learn from.

Our tech worker reading group for Unions of Our Own by Daniel Gross is confirmed for 8/15 📖 💫 We'll explore a framework to design unions that meet our needs, honor our values, and advance big visions RSVP today to join a discussion with workers at a variety of tech workplaces: sununion.org/s/read

An event flyer for an online tech worker reading group. The top half features a 3D graphic of a bright red book titled "Unions of Our Own: 8 Building Blocks to Change Work... and the World" by Daniel Gross. The book is surrounded by a golden, radiating sunburst pattern against a solid black background. Large, bold off-white text below reads: "TRANSFORM YOUR WORKPLACE." Underneath, smaller text states: "CHANGE IS POSSIBLE. LET'S DISCUSS. SESSION #1 AUG. 15 AT 3–4:30 PM (PST)." A red banner spans the bottom containing the Solidarity Union Network (SUN) logo and reads: "AN ONLINE READING GROUP FOR TECH WORKERS. Sign up now at SUNUNION.ORG/S/READ."

Building relationships is critical to a union campaign. I think it happens in three spheres 1st, how you show up in the regular course of work: caring, good listener, reliable, likable 2nd, using space at work outside of the regular course to learn job problems 3rd, social plans for outside work

Every woman in my life has shared their often violent encounters with men who refused to take no for an answer, who ignored “please don’t come over” texts, who drunkenly pushed themselves onto them and made them feel like they had to acquiesce, who were harassed at work, in the street, at school
