We support digital approaches in research, teaching and outreach at the University of Exeter and beyond. https://www.exeter.ac.uk/research/digitalhumanities/

Working on this was joyful: I'd long struggled to convey to students how cramped this deep, narrow stage would be with stage sitters. The little model (which you can print out yourself!) makes it possible to demonstrate exactly what the affordances and sightlines are and why Whitefriars is unusual.

Early modern theatre historians: this is a thing a student of mine made to help with understanding the affordances of the #Jacobean #Whitefriars 💥

This year the DH lab had the pleasure of collaborating with Professor @pascaleexeter.bsky.social on an exciting project exploring the staging possibilities of the Early Modern Whitefriars playhouse! #Digital #Humanities #DHLab #Interns #HASS #Internships #DigitalResearch #3D #3DPrint #3DPrinting

The DH team want to say a massive congratulations to all of our fantastic DH interns (past and present!) who graduated this year! Thank you all for your hard work! We are so proud of what you have achieved. We can't wait to hear about all the amazing things you will get up to in the future! #grad

We were delighted to welcome visitors from the Devonshire Assocation's Buildings Section yesterday for a group visit! It was wonderful sharing our collections with you, discussing the items on display, and answering your thoughtful questions. Please do visit us again - for research or enjoyment!

The DA Buildings Section had a brilliant afternoon yesterday at the @exeterunispeccoll.bsky.social looking at a selection of their archive, rare books, and manuscript resources relating to architectural history including works from the Betjeman Collection. Thanks to Archivists Annie and Tash.

Interested in Digital Humanities? Photography? Audio and video production? Learning new skills and technologies? Part time work on campus next academic year? We're looking for 7 current HASS undergraduate students to work in the DH Lab on current projects and support the day to running of the labs
