Working on this was joyful: I'd long struggled to convey to students how cramped this deep, narrow stage would be with stage sitters. The little model (which you can print out yourself!) makes it possible to demonstrate exactly what the affordances and sightlines are and why Whitefriars is unusual.

We were sad to hear of the death of #DavidHockney, perhaps the greatest #British post-war #artist.
