This is hands-down the best music video ever created. Pretty decent song, too.

"... with secret schemes on fast track timescales, cooked up by faceless individuals and of dubious benefit to the game. We must identify those responsible and hold them to account." Even for someone who doesn't care at all about football, these are interesting times. www.uefa.com/news-media/n...

Got my 2026-2027 #mvpbuzz award glass ring in the mail today, along with a blue 5-year ring. It even came with easy-to-read assembly instructions.
In my experience, AI demos around #PowerBI can be presented as magic which can be frustrating and feel disempowering. I want to know how it works and why. At Power BI Next Step I will be providing an all day training with hands-on labs where you use AI to solve real problems.
I saw The Odyssey today. I’ll give it a 4/5, because it could have been about 30-60 min shorter. Stellar acting and story. Pro tip: if there are two theaters next to each other, and one of them is screening the 70mm analog hipster version, go for the digital one and have half the venue to yourself.
If you need an excuse to have pie, today is Pi approximation day (22/7, for those of my friends who are date format challenged). Celebrate as appropriate.
My MVP award just renewed for year nine. I should feel celebratory. Instead, I'm thinking about how the community that gave me everything is changing faster than I can describe. We built the library. Someone else started charging admission. www.arcticdba.se/posts/the-li... #Mvpbuzz #Community
Just removing the EXIF tags from your photo does not 100% prevent people from figuring out where the picture was taken. There's a whole Internet community of "geo-guessers" who compete in finding real-world locations using only a photo. Fascinating example:

When a politician dies we see a lot of hagiographies about them. If you mention they were a terrible person IRL, you get chastised. My feeling? If you don't want people to talk shit about you after you die, don't be shitty when you're alive.

Teams app just asked me for a captcha. Was it worried that I was an agentic AI?
Pupper would like to revisit our prior discussion about cheese inequality.
After a multi-year thorough investigation, I can confirm that Bitbucket, like most other Atlassian products, sucks.
VP Vance’s recent assertion that the Watergate Scandal would’ve been a “two-day story” is true, but not for the reasons he suggests. In the ‘70s the American public and the media were still shocked by the notion that the President of the United States was a pathological liar.
Dogwatching my in-laws’ french bulldog this week. She has lots of personality, zero training or discipline, and a contrarian mindset, where she will go out of her way to do the opposite of what I tell her. Like a frenchie, I suppose.

You can never truly finish a toothpaste tube. At some point you just decide to give up, lest you squeeze it hard enough to create a toothpaste singularity. #facts
Quantum computing is really picking up speed. Great read on what it means for post-quantum cryptography. Spoiler: you may not have as much time as you thought.
I think anyone who worries about security should read this paper asap. @filippo.abyssdomain.expert does not mince his words.
Anthropic’s really been making the case for local models this week.
