I'm taking a new med, NOT for weight loss, and one of the side effects I got was it killed my appetite. I'm just not hungry. I will still feel awful if I don't eat, which eventually gets me to, but just, no desire to eat at all. It's not ideal. Especially as someone who works out 5 days a week.

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

Three kittens in a cage. Two are orange and one is black.

We did an exercise in flexibility class where we went from a plank into a straddle, sit down in the straddle, and then had to push back up, pull your legs back, and go back into the plank. I managed it ONCE, and face planted doing it, but I did it. (It's really hard. We were all struggling with it)

Whatever you do don’t take me to The Island from The Prisoner! I’d hate to live in a cool rent free apartment full of bold late 60s modern furniture haha noooo a bubble don’t chase me haha

Hey #birdsky I had two nests in my eaves, and both now seem to be inactive. Can I clean the nesting areas up or should I leave them? One has a lotta bird poop, so I'd obviously use a respirator, gloves, and bleach, but I'm not sure if I should touch it. They're House Finch nests.

I was having a hard time with a combo yesterday and was like, I'm pretty tired (hammock Tuesday, invert conditioning followed by Lyra Thursday and weights Friday) and she was like "because we're _older_ we have to be mindful of how often we train." And I about turned to dust right there.

I want make pretty comics, but I think I make comics in the same haphazard way that I see them in my head. Sometimes that works, a lot of times it doesn't. I haven't found the right combo yet, but I'm getting closer I also think my early manga influences impacted how I think of panels

Alpha jokingly claimed I didn't understand music, after playing me an awful clip of two kids singing balls into a crappy mic, and so I responded by finding and playing a clip from "parents just don't understand" I can out cringe you, my son, and I will.

My pharmacy, despite seeing my gender anytime they pull up my records, has decided that I'm a dude. So ok, I guess I take all pronouns now because whatever, I'm just here for my meds. (I have explained that I am the patient, but I no longer care to keep doing that) 🤷🏻‍♀️

keep thinking about the evil of this. It's not just destroying the physical books, bad as that is. They are trying to remove the underpinnings of knowledge, destroy all the accumulated wisdom - and silliness, and creativity, and whatever else humans have thought worthy of writing down.

No longer content with pillaging intellectual work and dismembering our environment (already critically weakened), AI companies are now hellbent on destroying books galore including rare editions. Shut down these nefarious enterprises already.

I awoke from my sleep to hear such a clatter I grabbed a flashlight and ran downstairs to see what's the matter A gray cat it was, in the window just there His back all arched with the standing of hair Another cat he had seen, outside the the yard
