When the NDP and its SM proponents act like the left-wing version of Conservatives it does not work for me. First, when they act as if the PM of Canada is the parent of provinces and can order the provinces to do whatever despite the constitutional division of powers.

As if a single Hallowe'en day isn't enough, now we've got "spooky month". Ugh.
I have been out on business all day. If anyone sees a particularly good analysis of last night's Alberta referendum result, I would much appreciate a link. Tks.
People of some age will remember K-Tel ads. Wait! If you purchase this we will include an extra steak knife set. Or the like. Well, when Staples sells an HP printer on-line, it might as well be wait! this printer comes with an HP customer "service" runaround experience. For your entertainment.
Alberta goes to the polls today, to decide whether the province should separate from Canada. The fact that it's even happening is nothing less than psychological warfare, waged by damn liars. www.thestar.com/opinion/star...
Justin Ling: Alberta’s referendum is built on lies, damned lies and hubristics
From Brexit to MAGA, we've seen that paranoid populism merely appears to care about the concerns of regular people.

Am I the only person out there who despises Hallowe'en? A whole month of it now. It has become an adult thing, often beyond gruesome. One place I pass has two full-size plastic dog skeletons inside a cage. Nightmarishly cruel. Back in the day, the kids made their own costumes from "stuff around". /2
“I’ve not once seen evidence that Donald Trump has enriched himself.” 🤡 🙃 V.P. JD Vance hilariously makes a bonfire of his own credibility again on national TV 🔥
Re: Digger. When critics and SM lemmings pile on, I'm more inclined to watch the movie.
Caturday. Sophie was in foster for *6 months* because rescue had to admit that she nips. I realized last night that she is afraid of books, so I conclude that her former humans whacked her with books or similar. But, she is slowly settling in.
Nobody hates free speech more than the fascist tech oligarchs who claimed to care about it more than anyone. What an absolute joke. P.S. they also hate democracy. As we hand them control of the country. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politic...

Elon Musk routinely inserts himself into Canadian politics. Despite this, Canada’s political class continues to use Twitter — legitimizing him and his far-right talking points. Canadian politicians need to make a choice: either they support Elon Musk, or their constituents. It can’t be both.
Why are Canadian politicians still using Twitter?

Danielle Smith says that she has to consult with Albertans about the federal expansion of MAID to include those suffering from an *incurable disease* having the capacity to make an advanced decision. When did Smith ever consult in any meaningful, sincere, good-faith manner? /2
