Worse than that. Read this EO carefully, it says anyone they see as essentially out of their mind OR homeless. It’s repeated under every point they make. This here allows to take anyone they see as a “threat” and put into an institution.
Laurence H. Tribe@tribelaw.bsky.social · last yr.Now Trump will treat being homeless as an offense to justify imprisoning people without trial in the growing set of concentration camps that he avoids calling what they are. All in the name of safe public spaces and less crime. Unconstitutional, but hard to stop. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...

Fascism is a lot of things, but at heart it's the political application of being a dumb asshole
Radley Balko@radleybalko.bsky.social · last yr.Vance's Easter visit to Rome clogged its streets with a 40-vehicle entourage. He also demanded the Coliseum be closed so he and his family could tour it alone. Tourists who properly booked slots in advance got screwed. He's apparently the first to make that demand. Then he didn't bother to show up.
With the current political climate, it’s made top surgery for my husband become an urgent necessity (We are stuck in deep red Florida). We so greatly appreciate everyone who takes the time to read, share, comment or donate 🩷
