if you want to know how important it is for you to do this math: the fees patreon took from me in 2025 add up to roughly 3 months of income. that's 3 months of income i would have paid taxes on if i didn't deduct the fees from the 1099. 3 months of income i never actually had!
the haver of it🔞@taylortitmouse.bsky.social · 7mo agoreminder when you're doing your taxes, the number patreon is putting on your 1099 is the gross and they DO NOT exclude all the money they took from you in fees. you need to deduct that yourself as business expenses. an easy ("easy") way to do that is to download your earnings by month

So I might be coming back to the streaming scene here soon, I mostly been guesting with others as of late but I think it's time I give it another whirl. I do kinda miss being able to chill with some games and art. ESPECIALLY art, I really wanna draw silly stuff, so that's probably the next plan <3
In other news: summer is hot, so is my room, and me... Actually just everything is cooked tbh. I've currently have had only enough brain power to wake up, tend to flesh prison, and play silly cookie game. I suppose the best and only cure for getting back into a routine is like... Doing it, lol.
....so I know I said I'd just start sorta streaming whenever I get the inspiration and not worry about scheduling, but maybe that was a tiny mistake for someone who kinda requires some sort of routine to feel accountable lol

Hey folks! I know it's been a hot minute, I've been getting rest and stuff while I've been quiet. However I've kinda realized I'm gonna need a bit of help for next month to make sure I keep my phone up, I need it for making sure I keep in contact with supports and potential employment things.
