i tried to change the loading screen's text color in the game i’m making and it threw an error and softlocked with nothing but a single “L” on the screen

Cropped screenshot of the Unity Engine game editor screen.
The game screen in the editor consists of completely blank dark screen aside from a small white 'L' at the bottom center of it.

Several messages can be seen in console:
Info: Config key "completed_controls_page" has invaid boolean '', using default of False
Info: Could not find SpritePack "Palettes"
Error: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Late one night, a small white dot appeared in the game I've been developing. It persisted between levels and was always at the same coordinates in every level. I restarted the game inside the game engine's editor to inspect it. It didn't reappear. I will probably never see it again.

More remastered pixel art from Zelda Link To The Past (Sanctuary). It's weird that the north side has stained glass (windows?) despite the adjacent room's solid walls. I wanted them to be lit up so I took the creative liberty of imagining that the panes can open for candles to be placed inside.

A top down view of the interior of the Sanctuary from The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. It is a long room with rows of pews and stained glass windows.

All of the tiles and lighting have been remastered, but the resolution stays the same as the original game.
