Because for some reason Bluesky feels like a friendlier forum, I just want to say a huge thank you to those of you who walked a tricky day on Thursday with me, your friendship and care means so much.

When you realise that in 18 months things will change. Spending some time reflecting on my RE journey, I’m feeling grateful for the opportunities I have had and look forward to seeing what someone else will do with them!

The last few days have been uplifting to see so many RE folk come together to think about where we go going forward. I really enjoyed hearing teachers from the leadership programme share their research.

This week has really brought home to me how we mustn’t take what we have for granted. Take the opportunity, jump a bit higher, risk something and above all tell the people who you care about and you value what they mean to you.

I’ve had such a lovely weekend celebrating my 40th birthday with the people who make me the happiest (well there are more who had good excuses why they couldn’t be there)! Thanks to some of team RE who made the trek to the SW to celebrate with me!

Started my day off talking to UCB radio about GCSE results day and RE! Sending all best wishes to students picking up their results, if anything surprises you, please talk to those around you! Huge well done to all teachers for what they’ve done to get their students to today!

I can’t tell you how much work it’s taken from the amazing team at @natre-update.bsky.social and our wonderful office staff to achieve this!!We hope that you are as excited as we are!
