So, I was leaving my house again & a guy is idling outside in his truck with the window down hollaring something that I couldn't hear above the car & lawnmower noise. All I could make out was "LGBTQ!" Hostile or friendly, idk.

Dude stuck his head ALL the way out the window to yell at me as he drove by, and I swear what I heard was "Mister Sir, those legs are fantastic!" That doesn't really sound like something anyone would say, but I'm going to go about my day as if he had! 😂

The single most common thing I hear about myself from others is that something I said or did was "incredibly kind" – but they always sound VERY surprised when they say it, so I never feel like I can claim "kind" as a word that people would use to describe me. 😅

The "it's gender affieming care!" response to Hegseth's plans to boost testosterone in the military bothers me. Feels like it perpetuates the false idea that T makes people more aggressive & violent, hurting trans people. And if soldiers are tried for war crimes they'll plead that they were drugged.

What Stephen Miller calls abnormal and "deformed" are all just signs of valuing & expressing autonomy, from blue hair, tattoos & piercings to leftist t-shirts & gender nonconforming styles to gender affirming medical decisions like hormones & surgeries. Body autonomy itself is the threat to them.

I'm also in the middle of a personal Hermit card year and 12H profection year, so there's a ton going on quietly under the surface – but deep, beautiful things are happening, from which new work will emerge in public.... eventually 😅

I'm a writer who has my Mercury in detriment in the 12th house. That hasn't meant I find writing difficult, but it is often private. My chart ruler is in Virgo, the sign where Mercury is exalted, in the 9th house. Writing and publishing in service to my spirituality is my Mercury's redemption.

yes trans/LGBT-specific panels are great and needed, but we can talk about all aspects of this industry! and we have perspectives cis creators don’t perspectives that *general* panel audiences really need to hear and i’m so sad that we’re still being siloed off like this
