That thing where after two hours of searching the synth patch from 2008 you really wanted turns out to be from a dev build of a plugin and doesn't load in the released version 😢

SUPERHOT VR was one of the boldest pieces of video game art I'd experienced. I'd not heard about the removal of the story since. That it's no longer there is a tragedy, and its post purchase deletion reminds me of the need to preserve the works that matter. Great essay. Huge spoiler alert.

SUPERHOT VR had its whole story patched out. I thought about it slightly too long and fell into rabbit hole. It doesn't make sense, it's bad that it happened, and it prompts a whole bunch of naval-gazing about Art.

Heartbroken I couldn't get tickets for The Cure Troxy show. Still nursing a similar wound about Five Imaginary Boys at The Garage and that was over 30 years ago, so probably taking this one to my grave!

Lovely time at the Underworld gig at Ally Pally this weekend - spent time with some old friends and bathed in the bright lights and banging tunes! And *incredibly* met Jeff Minter & Giles from Llamasoft who were total friendly gents when I (starstruck) babbled excitedly but incoherently at them!
