While testing every DS/3DS game I own, I’m happy when I find my old receipt I chucked into the case. Seems I bought a lot of used video games for REAL cheap in game stores back in the day. Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland for €15 felt particularly neat.
The DS/3DS sure was nice if you were a Dragon Quest enjoyer. Especially since Europe had seen pretty much none of these except VIII.
I’m real sick today but managed to get to the polls here in Sweden. Now spending the day following the election om TV while booting all my DS and 3DS games, as per this post 🤧
SimplyAJ@simplyaj.com · 2mo agoFriendly Reminder: 3DS, Vita and Switch all use a type of flash memory that needs an electrical charge every decade or so to keep the game data from corrupting. TLDR: Boot up all your games and make a save on them to help preserve them into the future!

Romancing SaGa 3 remake is lovely to see. The remake of 2 was excellent, and I welcome more people accidentally becoming SaGa Sickos.
Nintendo Direct time! I'm gonna be super hyped for a bunch of games and then be sad I can't buy most of them on little plastic cartridges that contain said games.
Side note: pretty excited about the prospect of maybe getting a release of this re-arranged Ocarina of Time soundtrack on CD. Video game music rocks.
I'm an absolute sucker for limited Nintendo handhelds—especially with Zelda artwork. Of course that means I now have a certain Switch 2 pre-ordered! The old tradition of giving my girlfriend my previous handheld console continues.
