If you're over 40, go get a colonscopy. Someone close to me was very lucky to have colon cancer discovered early enough that their surgeon was able to remove the tumour with clean margins. It was a terrifying, stressful couple of weeks. A colonoscopy isn't too bad. Even the prep. Seriously. 1/2
