idk exactly how to get at this - I’ve seen several commentators on the most recent ICE shooting preamble that the victim “wasn’t who they were looking for” or a “legal resident” and I promise you in the eyes of ICE it will never be about rules, humanity, morality, etc. they are all murderers

tw; conservative parents hung out with my dad for the first time in awhile and eventually he asked me what I thought of the Iran war and I said it was unnecessary (to be brief) and he went on to say they are categorically bad people, a theocracy, and that some problems are only solved with violence
