there’s no better feeling than watching an #animal run free that once knew only walls

Great article from the BBC on the recent rescue and dental surgery of two bears we helped save from horrific conditions in Armenia 🐻🦷 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

We still have time. And we’re using it well.

Nature knows how to bounce back. We just need to give her the chance.

Do we want our kids to grow up with stories—or #wildlife?

Monthly donations matter so much. They help cover long-term rehab, medical care, proper food and safety. They help us be there long after the rescue. If you believe in this kind of healing, help us make it possible. www.internationalanimalrescue.org/appeal/bearf... Thank you! #animals #bears

Aram shattered his teeth trying to escape the cage that held him for twelve years. He was trapped with his mate Nairi and their cub Lola, a family forced to suffer together in silence. Out of boredom and despair, Aram bit the metal bars again and again.

WE CAN’T BELIEVE OUR EYES 😱 😡 Please, will you help? On a residential street, hidden in a backyard, in a dark cage soaked in faeces and urine, we’ve uncovered the unimaginable: a FAMILY of THREE bears imprisoned in horrifying conditions. (1/2)

Honest social admin thought: we just posted this on Instagram and are perplexed that it hasn't instantly gone viral?! What has the world come to... 🤯😂

Ever had one of those days where someone asks how you are and you’re just like… this? #Orangutans are way more like us than most people realize. They use their faces to show exactly how they feel, from chilled and curious to full-on fed up. No filter.

The best part about saving #animals? They don’t say thank you. They just go back to being exactly who they were meant to be. ❤️

With one week left in Ape-ril, there's still time to get involved in Cakes For Apes 2025 and raise funds for @intanimalrescue.bsky.social (IAR) to save #orangutans! 🦧 One of our Orangutan Caring team, Greer, hosted a Cakes For Apes event – and raised £395 for IAR! This #bear cub was found all alone in a drain under a highway. Shaking. Crying. Waiting for a mum who never came back. After days of hoping, he was rescued by our partners, Wildlife SOS. He’s now safe, snuggled in blankets, bottle-fed every few hours, and busy chewing everything! #animals #bears

Forget trade wars—wildlife’s been on the losing end of a one-sided deal for decades. #Conservation #Animals #Wildlife

Noah the #bear is finally safe — rescued from a tiny cage and now in the care of our partners at FPWC. But while he’s out of immediate danger, the damage done to him is profound. Please help Noah heal with a monthly gift: www.internationalanimalrescue.org/appeal/noahs... Thank you.

Because of this abuse, Noah now faces a painful road to recovery. Years of trauma can’t be undone overnight — he needs specialist treatment and the chance to feel safe for the first time! www.internationalanimalrescue.org/appeal/noahs... #bears #wildlife #animals #animalrescue #conservation

Trapped behind a car repair shop in Armenia, Noah was living in a freezing cage — no shelter, no bedding, just jagged metal bars and a sheet of ice. The fear in his eyes said it all. Please donate today and help us care for him: www.internationalanimalrescue.org/appeal/noahs... #bears #animals

Don’t underestimate what care can do. We’ve seen it bring #animals back from the brink.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the #planet doesn’t need your perfection. Just your effort.

You don’t need to save a species. You just need to protect what’s right in front of you.

We used FISH SKIN to save her wing. Viola the scarlet #macaw arrived at our Costa Rica centre with a severe, infected wound—too damaged for stitches. Thanks to your support, a fish skin graft is now helping her heal. Innovative care like this is only possible because of you! #animals #vets

If you could ask an #orangutan one question, what would it be?

What’s the first #animal you fell in love with as a child?

The wild isn’t empty—it’s full of second chances. #nature
