Very, very cool news from @pcac.org — there's been more than 90 million additional subway rides since the beginning of congestion pricing in NYC. We've already know it's raised $$ and cleared the air, but it's clear it's incentivizing transit, too!

Like clockwork, summer vacation season ends and weekday subway ridership instantly returns to the 4M+ level. We should set a new post-COVID record next month when subway ridership generally peaks for the year.

Half-fares will be accepted at all times. Currently, half-fare tix r not valid on AM Peak trains (an exception in the law permits agencies to charge full-fare during peak hours). No mention of express buses, tho. @pcac.org heavily pushed this. It's a small revenue impact. Most condrs let it slide.
