On the first point, I really do implore you to support individual reporters, writers, critics and whoever else floats your boat over *brands*. In an industry as cutthroat as video game media, being able to speak directly to an audience without needing a masthead makes all the difference.

A scene from the end of Malazan: Gardens of The Moon! I made this a few years back but am still really proud of the border and all of the dragons. It would be fun to revisit this style in the future once I finish The Crippled God.

A battle from the end of Malazan: Gardens of The Moon.

Remember Yippe Ki-Yay Video? The tiny label that released a Blu of the actually good DC of the late Albert Pyun’s “Captain America” & has announced other Pyun rarities. They are putting out a disc of Boll’s repugnant “Citizen Vigilante.” & here is the label owner responding to a complaint about that

A fan writes a passionate please to the label owner asking them not to release a disc of Uwe Boll’s Racist 2026 film. The label owner, Kenny Williams responds, “I don’t care if the movie kills every immigrant on the planet as long as I keep getting paid …”

ELRIC AND THE COLD DRAKE (2018)
Oil on Canvas - 11" x 17"

I had a quantity of the pigment left on my palette while working on an H.P. Lovecraft painting. I fished a canvas scrap out of the wastebasket in our print room and sketched this scene with the leftover Payne’s Grey and white. 1/2

A line of black rock littered with human skulls climbs from the immediate foreground up to the top of a snow covered hill backed by jagged mountain peaks. There Elric stands with an enormous white dragon spreading its wings wide. Ready to strike, its serpentine neck is coiled in an "S" as its jaws part in a hiss. With the drake at his back, Elric stands with windswept hair, dressed in black with the long blade of Stormbringer slung low at waist height. He stares at some threat off panel to the right.

No humility here for the girl who speaks for nearly 10 minutes uninterrupted about 2000AD at the start of this ep, I think this is a really fun primer for what I'd call "the Modern era of Judge Dredd." I even made a whole reading order like normal people do!!

To expand on this a little, one of the big problems we've run into especially with these episodes where we have so much we want to talk about is that our current recording schedule is kinda shit for our purposes and we need to shift things around. In a constant state of figuring shit out

This week's Blame ep is gonna be pushed back to next week due to some personal stuff, everything's okay, we just wanna do our best for y'all and that's not what we would be doing rn.

everyone at my job keeps making fun of The Dog Stars poster and using it as an example of a movie nobody really cares about and I have to bite my tongue because I am excited for literally any Ridley Scott movie I can see in a theater
