Finally: our community discussion session. Program chair Claire Bonial introduces this year's new tracks, "Language and the Brain" and "Usage-based approaches (incl. Construction Grammars)". Both will receive a steady home at CoNLL and SIGNLL.

Hallucinated references are the talk of the town now. How did we go about paper submissions with "hallucinated" references? At CoNLL, we viewed incorrect references as a violation of fundamental scholarly standards, and papers with such references were not sent for review.

What makes CoNLL special? Well many things, but one of them is that we just released the notifications of acceptance two days before the deadline! So, possibly for the first time in NLP history, no author will be spending a day refreshing an Open Review page!
