Honestly my biggest takeaway from this clip is that Obama is very consciously elevating Mamdani (whom he cites unprompted as an example of the right way to do this) as a model while other top Dems still shirk him.

Obama: "What I'm more interested in for Democrats is, do you know how to just talk to regular people like we're not in a college seminar? Can you talk in plain English to folks? And not have a bunch of gobbledygook around it. Just talk like normal people talk. 'The rent is too high.'"

I agree, it's a tragedy that women running for office face so much discrimination among voters. I suspect this is why Warren won't endorse her either - internalized misogyny. Nevertheless, all that matters is beating the Republican.

Kat lost by 3.3% in a race where AIPAC poured in $5 million to beat her. Will lost by 9.7% in a race where his biggest obstacle was some guys sending screenshots of his tweets in a mailer. The audacity of this guy mansplaining how to win to Kat after her performance to night is unbelievable
