#a2council Does anyone know why the boundary for AAPS and the Ann Arbor District Library almost perfectly line up, except for the northern part in what looks like Northfield Township? Why are all the other boundaries the same except those ones?

#a2council For context, Ann Arbor has about 500 township islands, which are parcels of land within city limits, and receive city services, but have their taxes go to a surrounding township. Personally these bother me way more than someone buying a home, and not using it the way I want them to use it

#a2council here are the our residential parcels by year of construction. This is an overcount because Ann Arbor has vacant parcels marked as residential instead of residential vacant. Ann Arbor builds little housing, and if we didn't build condos, Ann Arbor wouldn't build any housing at all

#a2council I pulled permit data from stream, and I think it's worth noting for all the talk of old affordable homes getting torn down, there are maybe dozens of demolition permits pulled a year, and about a third of them are for garages
