I’m at #ASSETS2025 in Denver to present our paper on the impacts of using generative AI to scaffold just-in-time (JIT) configuration of visual scene displays (VSDs) by novice communication partners! You can catch my presentation in Session 5B on Tuesday at 11:15 MDT. Here are some highlights👇

ASSETS 2025 technical paper submissions are now open on PCS. Navigate to submissions on PCS, under society, choose ASSETS, then ASSETS 2025 for conference/journal, and then Technical Papers. Technical papers are due April 16, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. anywhere on Earth (UTC -12:00).

Our paper, "𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠", is accepted to 𝐀𝐂𝐌 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓! ⛩️ With @quiteneate.bsky.social & 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨, we explored nonverbal communication tracking in videocalls.
