As a late diagnosed queer person the nostalgia in my art isn’t really decade specific but comes from the intersection of grief and “what could have been” and the bliss of being a carefree child that could just be a genderless blob and run around before the awkwardness and problems settled in
Being an artist is like "when i finish this art project i am going to reward myself for working so hard by making this new art project" Over and over until you die.
I always think “eh I’m not so into vampire movies” Then I watch one and I think about how much I actually love them and how I could make a fun vampire story and how would I design them and Augh
