Honestly, I think everyone who hasn’t already seriously needs to stop caring about the concept of Mary Sues. It’s really just a way to punish young creatives (almost always girls) for having fun playing with dolls. Ps. By all standards, Luke Skywalker would be considered a Mary Sue

You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more
