In case you missed it: @chemicalscience.rsc.org now charges an APC of £2,850 per paper. It was previously free (diamond OA), and in my view it contributed greatly to the appeal and success of Chem Sci. Sad to see the RSC go that way…

It was such a nice experience to come back to ICCC after 8 years. While seeing old friends, there were exciting advancements and new perspectives in the field. I hope my talk about MOCOFs also contributed to coordination chemistry.
Attending ICCC in Odense. I will give a talk tomorrow morning about MOCOFs!
It was a great pleasure to welcome Prof. Shuhei Furukawa (@furukawas.bsky.social) from Kyoto University for a fascinating talk on “Van der Waals Porous Solids.” He shared inspiring insights into metal-organic polyhedra and engaged in lively discussions with our group!
A new preprint! We tested conversion of MOF synthesis data into knowledge graph linked with ontologies, as a part of software development project by our colleagues. This can be useful for standardization and machine-learning of complicated synthetic procedures in the future. arxiv.org/abs/2606.07094
Just noticed the IUPAC definition of MOF was entered in the Gold Book last year, based on the 2013 recommendation. goldbook.iupac.org/terms/view/1...

So far what I have managed is a model of NU-901, or 902, or other scu-net MOFs with orthorhombic symmetry
Nice gadget idea for MOF2026 by @antonpaar.bsky.social, after all that's how Robson started it.. although I could not find a way to make Td nodes. Plenty of time to upgrade it for EuroMOF2027 😏
It was a pleasure to talk about our recent paper in MOF2026, with a lot of discussion about data/AI usage
Our Collaborative Research Center funding is extended! It is my pleasure to be able to continue working with the wonderful team, plus new students and collaborators.
🎉 Great news: our #CRC1333 at @unistuttgart.bsky.social has been granted a third funding period by @dfg.de ! A huge thank you to all CRC members for your outstanding research, collaboration & dedication over the past years — this achievement would not have been possible without you! 👏
Heading to the MOF2026 conference! I will give a talk about our data-driven synthesis paper on Monday 4:20 at Oak Alley.
Happy to see our previous work received a certificate of #TopViewedArticle in Advanced Materials! The work was about the colloidal synthesis of COF catalysts using a protecting group strategy, which I myself like a lot. advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

We presented our recent paper about data management of MOF synthesis at the NFDI4Chem meeting. We enjoyed deep discussion about many aspects of data publication and usage!
We are celebrating a fantastic start to our Consortium Meeting 7.0 🚀 The programme features exciting keynote speeches and discussions about the work over the next three years, as well as meetings with our Advisory Boards. A meeting was also held with representatives from other consortia. 😍
