Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

What kind of party would you throw? 🎩🔥 #indiegame | #indiedev

Sooo...who around here does cartoon/hand-drawn character art for video games?

No one move either way.

someone give me the strength to clean up my downloads they are rough times out here

One year ago I was deep in the trenches of making the art for the vertical slice of The Death Night Show. I had spent a good while writing, drawing, stressing. And the worst part? I didn't even like it. Which is why I'm so happy right now about the new look. CHEERS FOR PROGRESS.🎩🔥 #indiegame

Higher resolution version of my UPA bit. #deltarune

I'm feeling so incredibly maternal towards my characters today.

Looking at the outline for The Death Night Show and I'm like... this is kind of good. 😭😭😭 what's this feeling.

seeing a github commit along the lines of "X problem Fixed" and a small joyful tear falls through my cheeks

Also a friendly reminder that we do NOT allow the use of generative AI for art and audio assets. And that includes your itch․io thumbnail. Don't worry, we'll know. Because it looks like complete shit.

waves 👋 is anyone here going to gamescom too? 👀

dialogue that inspires. #indiegame | #indiedev

Dev related stuff I did this week: - Started remaking The Death Night's Show capsule art - Did some small sprite fixes and implemented some of the art for the Gamescom prototype - Resolution sheneanigans - Sent emails. Scary. #indiegame | #indiedev
