Very excited that three prints are on their way from @gailmyerscough.co.uk - they are of Durdle Door, the Malvern Hills and Chester's Eastgate clock - representing where we grew up and where we live. We commissioned them but I believe they will be available to buy from Gail's shop in future.

A triptych of designs by Gail Myerscough showing the Malvern Hills, Chester's Eastgate Clock and Durdle Door.

1/x In 1933 a crewed schooner picking through Arctic ice was overtaken by a ship with nobody at the helm. Ghost ships speak to the imagination, and most are fiction. This one is real, and she drifted for 38 years. This is the story of the SS Baychimo. #maritimehistory

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.
