Your periodic reminder to *ask* any mobility-impaired person if they want help before 1) grabbing the door they are leaning on or, 2) deciding that they should be pushed somewhere. Unless you are pushing them out of the way of a speeding truck the decision isn't yours.

My eyes got bigger than my stomach. 2 plain frozen baguettes doctored with @tastytin.com's Galic Dust, melted butter and Land O'Lakes garlic & herb spread and spreadable brie on both sides of each slice, and a thin slice of havarti between each slice.

I’m not sure I will live long enough to see that happen. Color blindness lies in peoples faces, telling them that what they have very likely experienced in their journey, didn’t happen, didn’t matter, didn’t influence who they are as people. Stop it.

Institutions don’t come right out and say it, but there’s an implicit caution about having too many of us in any given field. One or two checks the we’re not racist box. But an entire team of trauma surgeons who are all Black is in fact, a BFD. And at an institution as revered as Johns Hopkins

It would be nice to live in a perfect world where this historic first wasn’t an historic first. But that is not now, nor has it ever been the world in which we live. So what you mean as positive is actually invalidating and dismissive. Especially under our current regime.

This took off, and I appreciate so many of the affirming comments about it. However, I have to address several that boil down to the ongoing issue with color blindness. “I just see doctors. “ “I can’t wait until this isn’t newsworthy.” I know you mean well or think you do.
