"Senior editor" is a technical title, not a managerial title. If Dark Horse wants to give its senior editors managerial duties and reclassify them as managers, it can change their title to "managing editor" and award them a commensurate increase in pay.

Regarding the last thing I reposted, this is definitely NOT the only thing shady thing that has been going on behind the scenes since Dark Horse posted their very nice message about how they were accepting the union because it's ✨the right thing to do 😌✨, but it's pretty fuckin egregious.
UNION UPDATE: tl;dr Dark Horse leadership is attempting to reduce union membership by claiming supervisory status for Senior Editors, who have never been allowed management roles. 🧵

I finished Ghost of Yotei last night, and it was fun! Satisfying combat! I enjoyed exploring! But also like... part of my degree was Hokkaido history, so I could not stop being an enormous buzzkill about the whole thing.
The AI stuff from Larian is extremely disappointing. And them saying, essentially, "People are still making the actual game (writing/acting)! We're just using it for concept art!" is so unbelievably disrespectful to artists.

One of my favorite and most meaningful moments in our Baldur's Gate 3 multiplayer game was something that was not a scripted story event, but instead something that happened due to game mechanics and our choice to play characters from a previous D&D campaign—making it very hard to explain, lol.
