Pssst This is a good time of year to 1. Kill a patch of lawn by covering it with cardboard and/or wood chips over the winter 2. Plan what to plant in your new native plant garden (see below for ideas for beginners) 3. Buy seeds for winter sowing or get them from local gardeners, seed libraries, etc
