Considering that incursions are a major part of the story in Doomsday (and more than likely Secret Wars) (and have been set up in prior films), I think it is safe to say that it will result in not a major reset, but a new status quo with the worlds merged. I mean, is that an accurate guess?

I recall that with the first two Iron Man movies started filming without a fully finished script and gave the actors a lot of opportunities to improv.
