Studios and networks have become overly cautious and no longer will invest in another season until they have all the data from season 1, which is an even worse problem when it comes to animation because animation can take around a year to produce! It leads to giant gaps and declining viewership.

A new report from Luminate has found that long gaps between seasons of streaming TV shows are leading to major losses in viewership. More than a 1 year gap is seen to largely cause a significant loss in viewership. (Source: luminatedata.com/reports/2026...)

And even then, I've only gotten through about half of the book. I aim to finish the book by the end of the year. I also haven't been able to make an actual animation in Krita yet.

i am realizing my biggest pet peeve is people who seem unable or refuse to learn. like so many things can be learned in a single google search. everything I know how to do is because I looked up how to do it and read tutorials, watched YT videos, and tried it myself. SO many ppl will not go that far
