For some reason the most out of place article on the blog has had the highest view count according to last 7-days and last 30-days stats, which I don't check often but randomly took a look at today. Although the fact that it's out of place is probably why more people care about it.

I'll just say this: This is a complicated story being litigated in a very messy social platform. Through the '80s and '90s, Anime had waves of popularity, punctuated by waves of rejection and racism. Moreover, Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball explicitly died in the US in their first run.
