Excited to have these awesome resin kits of Showa-era household items re-imagined as robots in the shop. They're designed and made by PECOPOCO, a garage kit manufacturer we met at Wonder Festival US. Some of them have neat extras like waterslide decals and LED lights, too.

For some reason the most out of place article on the blog has had the highest view count according to last 7-days and last 30-days stats, which I don't check often but randomly took a look at today. Although the fact that it's out of place is probably why more people care about it.

I have come to the unnerving realisation that Mr. Bean is functionally a "cute girls" show. -Idealised existence of cosy leisure -Concoting bizarre solutions to mundane problems -Emphasis on outsized reactions and slapstick -Beach, fête/festival, Christmas episodes -Fluffy mascot character

I kept putting it off many times over the years but I finally got around to reading all of Aim for the Ace! Makes me want to rewatch the various anime adaptations again 🙂

"We waited at a Chinese restaurant in Osaka. A disheveled Yasuda came in. His eyes were glistening, and he had lively motion in his elbows, holding in his quivering left hand a drawing of Chun-Li for me. That was the first time I fell in love with a young man." Yoshiyuki Tomino on Akira Yasuda

Hi everyone, it's new article day. 🥰 This week, it's a big one. Seth Burn had the chance to talk with legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano about his new work ZAN, the growth of anime and manga fandom worldwide, and more. It's a genuinely great read and we hope you enjoy it Link: hera.fyi/amano

Key visual for ZAN that depicts a tattooed warrior cleaving through a monstrous beast
