My favorite game of all time got a visual overhaul update and is active again. 5/7 of my PvP static members are playing and want to get back together after a decade. And I can't fucking play because my work schedule makes it impossible. I'm gonna cry.

Music and memory is a wild thing. Just remembered Edge of Sanity's Crimson II from 2003, one of my favorites at the time that I somehow just forgot about for 20 fucking years. Still think it's one of the greatest metal albums ever made. I would love a show or an anime based on this concept album.

Why should I write better when a machine can do it for me? Because actually no one can do it for you, because your voice is unique among all the people on earth. Siri never petted a horse's neck. Alexa has never been ghosted by the captain of the football team. But you have lived, your heart is beating, you have suffered, and you have something important to say. It's a human's job, to use words, and whatever job you give to a machine, that part of your brain goes dark. Maybe it's worth it when it comes to remembering phone numbers and directions, but when that part of your brain that uses words goes dark, that's a vast area that's very close to your soul. Don't let some internet platform convince you that what you have to say and create isn't worthwhile. Words are the echo of your soul. Honing that echo matters.

Hot take? "Provider" is one of the saddest moments on the album; it employs sensuality as an illustrative tool, exploring the intimate moments surrounding yearning, loss, and despair over almost-love that ST are known for, and blasting full horny over this track is kind of missing the point.

Please, please, please #twitch streamers - in your ad manager, adjust the length/frequency until pre-rolls are disabled. It's a choice to leave them on. If new viewers get bombed with ads as soon as they click on your channel, they're not sticking around to see if they like it there.
