This is what the "make transit free!" dweebs refuse to understand. It's not the dollar cost. It's the cost in time and aggravation when you can't reliably get to where you need to go in a reasonable amount of time. 76.9% on-time performance? Making it free doesn't make that any more acceptable.
Lots of fun factoids in this dashboard. Like: the Strandherd park and ride sees 21 per cent usage of its spaces; it takes an hour to get downtown by transit from there. Driving takes half that at peak traffic time. You would save on downtown parking, but at the cost of an hour of your day.
