This is the tamest, most sanitized version of the shift taking place in the party (and that has been going on for several years now). Absolutely nothing about sucking up to the far-right, MAGA adherents, or winking at authoritarian populism. No, it's just about online influencers. Come on.

Every other time the Liberals let the company and the union work it out at the bargaining table, the Conservatives had a meltdown and demanded back-to-work legislation. Every. Single. Fucking. Time. Now they're cheering that the Liberal government "got out of the way." Just absolute hypocrites.

The RCMP is a broken, toxic force that needs to be dismantled, and the federal government has the opportunity to do just that by not renewing provincial contracts, but I have zero confidence that Carney or anyone in his Cabinet have the spine or wherewithal to do what needs to be done.
