Chris Tweed@squonky.eurosky.social ยท 5d agoThank you @caskeyc.bsky.social & @jjlovegrove.bsky.social for a wonderful intimate gig this evening at Leicester Print Workshop. Just phone snaps here, will see if I got anything worthwhile with my camera tomorrow. What *was* very worthwhile was getting out & enjoying great live music ๐ถ

florgoth@florgoth.bsky.social ยท last wk.#JustListened "History Is The Struggle Of Becoming" by @jjlovegrove.bsky.social is already one of the best works I've heard this year, but this version is even more impacting. The arrangement is very open, making the audience focus even more on JJ's incredible vocals. Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you both. So glad you received it with an open heart ๐ค
Chris Tweed@squonky.eurosky.social ยท last wk.Exactly! 55 minutes & it's flying by. Being a prog-head makes this just a slightly lengthy track ๐ Downloaded to my phone ready for the commute tomorrow. And I'm bloody loving it. Intimate & immersive.

Chris Tweed@squonky.eurosky.social ยท 3mo agoJJ Lovegrove Has kinda taken over my soul for the last few years. Dark poetry; every word can wriggle & shift to reveal new meaning. โCelandineโ by @jjlovegrove.bsky.social unfolds slowly and beautifully, with piano, brass, strings and drums shaping an intimate, literary song. Its patience is earned, and every instrument gives the vocal room to breathe. #BandcampFriday indiemusicbus.com/artist-suppo...
