Back home in Vancouver BC after a quarter century in PDX. Sci Fi, Comics, Cartoons and sadly, the Canucks.

No YOU were pretending that you were in the championship of the dumb phone game you play and there were commentators and you were mumbling what the commentators were saying and got caught by your partner

The Madness on Netflix is far from perfect, but it's fun and worth the watch for Colman Domingo saying "Motherfucker" a bunch and running all goofy.

I'd give a good... Shit... 24? 25 dollars to see Dio-saur Jr. (That's the Dio as done by Dinosaur Jr. band I just daydreamed instead of working)

Every Teams meeting: "Before I acknowledge the land I live on, I'd like to acknowledge the month it is and further, I would like to acknowledge that I can't believe it is indeed that month already."

Anyway, back to Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. What a fun, sweet show, with just enough gore and violence to scare kids into loving being scared. Great character arcs. Loved it!

Little known fact: Bluesky is actually pronounced like the name of a Polish cop who's getting yelled at by his boss for being a loose cannon: "In my office NOW Blu*ES*ky!"

It's not hyperbole when I say that Rick Froberg changed my brain. I was 19 in 1993 when I saw Drive Like Jehu (Unwound opened!). I swear that I understood music as a whole differently when I left that show. I have listened to this song about 15 times in the last few days https://youtu.be/I4ztcE91yr8

New here. Is this the place to go to gain assurance that yes, it's super cool to be pushing 50 while having strong opinions on Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai?
