Always annoyed me that it’s rare to find an N Scale locomotive for Southern Pacific that includes the SP light package, but found a 3D printed cab & nose set for the EMD MP15DC from MP Scale Models that if I ever feeling like tackling, I can at least have one locomotive that does!
Take a break from being depressed that everything you love is being destroyed by slop for a moment and let me tell you about the beautiful symbiotic relationship between graffiti writers, train yard workers, and model train enthusiasts.
Something satisfying about buying a model train of a (historical) local train from a seller across the county, which originally was purchased here, from a local train store. Welcome back home little buddy!
dialect quiz results for me not surprising, but reminded me of being in the Army and chatting with another soldier from California and a dude with the absolutely thickest southern accent quipped "Y'know, y'all talk like the TV!" (Actually kind of envious of regional accents)
Spend the afternoon cleaning up the house now that it’s sans cat, but also printed out a whole bunch of Steve photos we took to frame this weekend and hang in the house 🐶❤️🐈
After 17 years with her, it was time to say good bye, though I hope somehow we'll see each other again ❤️🐈

brain, i understand that you'd rather do Preferred Activity, but right now we have to do Task. if we finish task we can do Preferred Activity WITHOUT feeling weighed down by the need to do Task. do you see how that works ah it's biting me my brain is biting me

Though it wasn’t part of SFMOMA, I was just as enamored with the side of this 1918 built building next to the museum which was (as you’d expect from the faded paint) the location of the flag maker Emerson Mfg Co. (Emerson USA has some roots to this company and still makes flags here in California)
I almost didn’t take any photos, but then saw Duchamp’s Fountain (which was largely ignored by others in the area)

Found me a 70s jumpsuit in my size and these need to make a comeback because they’re comfy as heck
also wore this outfit to dinner for the first time and got complimented within the few minutes of being out and about 🥰
SpotGideon@shepf.art · 2w agoReceived a very nice 3 piece suit straight out of JC Penney’s 1975 summer catalog this weekend which I immediately brought to my tailor to have alterations done, so pics will have to wait, but in the meantime something more casual to pose in (pants need a wee bit of hemming, but that can wait)
All you can eat combination KBBQ & hot pot I think is a worthy alternative to pizza on a Friday night 🐶❤️🥘🍖🥩🍗
Big Walk has been a lot of fun, and appreciate my friends for agreeing to unlock the train before anything else (you can see how cool I look waiting for one to arrive at the station😎👍🚂)

Been a bit since I did any modeling, so put together this GHQ Ottawa Yard Truck in N Scale, since I’ll be needing a way to move intermodal containers once they’re loaded onto trailers! Wish this kit was still being made because I’d like a handful if I’ll be modeling an intermodal terminal
